Warsun's objective is to use the internet to increase access to educational resources throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. Warsun’s system incorporates broadcast video from the instructors location combined with interactive voice and data to enable the students to watch the instructor on TV or a PC, while using voice return to ask questions and keypad or mouse to provide real time responses to quizzes or tests.

An educational "sister" institution in the U.S.A. will design, develop and provide the curriculum and course content, while Warsun will provide the following:

Student and instructor interface systems

Wide area network solution including a network server

On-going infrastructure maintenance and support and Internet gateway.

Lectures and other information will be downloaded periodically or on a scheduled basis into the network server, while students will have access to the information through thin client PCs . A DAMA ready VSAT linked to Warsun ’s U.S. Teleport will be installed at the institution. Warsun’s focus is on Africa and our facilities are designed to meet the multimedia connectivity needs of African countries.
